The Will Power Project
In these paintings, I used a bold, expressive, and colourful style to depict scenes centred around food and sensual indulgence. The exaggerated figures often engage directly with sweet treats, suggesting themes of self-acceptance and pleasure. With a focus on vibrant colours and an almost cartoonish or naive aesthetic, the works celebrate the human form and its relationship with appetite without apology. The composition places the subject and the food in an intimate, personal space, to create reflecting a joyful, provocative, and satirical exploration of desire, body image.
